Workpackage description

Workpackage 7 describes a series of training activities. These relate in the main to the development of training syllabi, techniques and support material, including learning packages. Once these have been developed it is proposed to hold a series of training meetings to disseminate this information. The main thrust of this aspect of training activities will be focused on new and candidate member states. These activities will therefore support the implementation of the Medical Exposures Directive across new and candidate states.

In addition, a number of institutes actively participate in postgraduate studies. Thus it is anticipated that the project will assist research students studying for postgraduate degrees.
Training of staff at all levels is vital if new technology is to be implemented appropriately.
